World Wild Walls Hawaii 2023

World Wide Walls, previously known as Pow! Wow! Hawai‘i, has become synonymous with Honolulu, particularly in the vibrant neighborhood of Kaka‘ako, where the annual mural arts festival used to be held. However, this year marked a significant change as the festival returned under the name Hawai‘i Walls, making its first appearance since 2019. The focal point shifted to the Kalihi–Kapālama community, where over 70 captivating new murals have adorned the landscape across 10 different locations.

We were absolutely thrilled when we received an invitation to Hawai‘i Walls, an event that allowed us to create a brand new mural near the basketball court in Pālama Settlement.
