Rodearte Festival Mexico

A creative week in Mexico 123KLAN recently had the opportunity to be part of  2 Events in Mexico :

• Rodearte Festival
• Hookandloop Event

Scien and Klor realised a giant mural dedicated to the kids of Oblatos (20 meters height). Lot of wire in front of the wall made the whole process a bit more complicated than expected but we finally managed to accomplish this massive mural in 3 days. We really wanted to make a wall with a one of our iconic character for the kids of Oblatos, Maple the squirrel it was our Canadian ambassador in Mexico, we were so happy and proud  because we have just received our Canadian citizenship. As always, we were  mixing our both favourite creative fields, graffiti and graphic design. We are pretty satisfied with the result. See you next year Mexico for sure. Graffiti writing :  Scien and Klor were glad to join the locals graffiti writers such as Fixe, Drain, Jazor, Haks ,  Afeks, Zoer and the VRS crew to paint 3 others wall during this week. Mexico scene is really strong. Hotel:  We were staying at Las Pergolas Hotel in Guadalajara , And Eric, the director wanted a dinner with us, and he offered his wall that we painted just before to fly back to Montreal. Totally improvise, but so cool ! More project will come at Las Pergolas … We really had a blast taking part of such a cool events and can’t wait to come back already! In the meantime this wall can still be seen in Oblatos/Guadalajara Big up to the Rodearte team and to Montana Colors for the support.
