Piece of the day: Wild Style Graffiti on the Venice Beach Boardwalk 123KLAN Graffiti Art in Los Angeles
On the legendary Venice Beach Boardwalk, facing the Pacific, Scien & Mrs Klor of 123KLAN brought a new wild style piece to life, bold and sharp lettering, layered colors, and pure West Coast energy. This post shares the story behind the mural and embeds the short film capturing the full process.
Why Venice Beach Matters
The Venice graffiti walls are a living gallery. Since the 1980s they’ve welcomed writers from around the world, where today’s burners might be gone tomorrow. Painting here means adding a fresh chapter to Los Angeles street culture, surrounded by skaters, tourists, locals, and the constant soundtrack of the ocean.
About the Artwork
This mural is classic wild style: interlocking letterforms, tight connections, sharp contrasts, and rhythm in the negative space. True to 123KLAN’s DNA, it fuses graffiti tradition with a graphic design edge, an approach the duo has refined from France to Montreal to Venice, from gallery walls to concrete. thanks to Mtn 94 for your support !

Work in progress : outlines, fills, and first highlights.

No Video
We did not have time to film the entire session, from first outline to final highlights, we were to focus to fight the wind. but you can feel the flow of paint, the energy of the crowd, and the rhythm of the boardwalk.
