BANDIT OF THE DAY #5 : KEMS

NAME , CREWS, BACKGROUND :

I write Kem, Kems, Kemer and on a rare occasion Kem5. The multiply name adaptations fits well with my Gemini sensibilities. As for crews I push 3A, VMD, UPS, FLY ID, GSK.  

1ST PIECE (where and when...) :

All through high school I messed around with graff but my first real piece was done around 1994 on the tracks near my folks house just outside of Boston. It was a simple "Kem" piece painted with Krylon True blue, Mauve, White and Silver. I remember "cutting back" on some of the letters and thinking about how amzing it was. Graff pre-internet days seemed more exciting because the sense of discovery lasted longer. Today the shelf life and learning curve for most things have been greatly shortened.
