Here is a small graffiti piece painted among friends with left over paint. just before the start of the Teenage Kicks Graffiti Festival in Rennes in September 2023.
Due to limited space, we decided to work on this graffiti piece together. It's often in such situations that we use the name "Dot" or "TAB," something that we have in common but isn't our personal graffiti tag in order to respect each other.
You might be wondering why "Dot"?
Well, as always, there's a little story behind it. One day, during a lighthearted conversation with Scien, we were wondering what tags we would have chosen. Given the abundance of graffiti artists today, it seems like almost all the good tag names have already been taken. That's when we came up with the idea that Scien would go by "Dot," and I would take the tag "Kom" ;p. We decided to embrace a touch of internet-style humor, going from being the "123KINGS" to the "Web Kings" after all. We enjoy adding a bit of fun and not stay serious to it. We always have a smile on our faces when someone tells us that we're "old school." So there you have it, DOT Kom, the Internet! Kings of the web, Ok Boomer ;p

We are so happy to announce the official release of Roller Champions!
We had a lot of fun with the support and talent of Klor as Art Director of this new free to play game from Ubisoft.
As you will notice for those who are familiar with 123Klan, you will easily recognize our touch everywhere in the game.
As artistic Directors, we intervened and did create almost all visual art at all levels in this game to give it our artistic flavor.
For the connoisseurs, you will find, while playing, a lot of small Easter eggs 123KLAN
The hunt for Easter eggs is launched, place a #123klan on a screenshot when you find one.
It's been almost 4 years that we've been working tirelessly as Art Directors on Roller Champions, Ubisoft's newest free to play game.
From branding to the creation of icons, typography, in-game sponsor logos, UI graphics, and all the art direction for each map, each season, each new outfit, we've worked tirelessly on every detail of this game. Of course we didn't do it all by ourselves and we want to thank all the artists who collaborated on the project for maintaining the quality and originality of this new free to play game.
Here are some of our achievements, but the best is still to come...
Fun collaboration on this concept art with talented concept artist Michael Verhaaf.
Art direction and Skin Character ( concept artist Mika Verhaaf )
But most of all I would like to thank the entire art team for their excellent work, their talent and their relentless efforts!
And of course, our creative director Gauthier Malou for his genius and vision without whom nothing would have been possible.
Thanks to all of you !
GG team !
A new adventure awaits us in Los Angeles, we wish Roller the best for the future.

In 2017, Luc St-Onge and Gautier Malou (with whom we had worked at Team Chman) approached us to be the artistic directors of their future project.
123klan, with its 25 years of experience in street wear and urban culture, corresponded to the aestheticism and authenticity they were looking for.
The game should be released soon, we will keep you inform about it and we are bound to secrecy, it's frustrating, but for the moment we can only show or talk to you about what is Visible online.
But come back soon, we'll show you lots of juicy stuff.
Getting to collaborate with 123KLAN was an unforgettable experience! What stroke me about SCIEN & KLOR's creations was the explosive richness of their graphic shapes, the neatness of their letter work, the energy of their colors and their smart embezzlement of cartoon and manga art. They created a unique style which they express with panache in every single new project. I was undeniably thrilled when the opportunity to collaborate with them arose.I vividly remember spending time losing myself in the pages of their sketchbook during a brainstorm afternoon with them and thinking that I love the way they think and create. In their sketchbook's line work, I discovered a beautiful exploration of aestheticism and shapes which is a big part of my creative process as well. One component among many others that I find so interesting about them is the ingenious simplicity of their visuals. A simplicity that one can only acquire after many years of practice and tenacious passion. It is not an every day event that you get to meet artists who inspire you and with whom an effortless understanding and accord develop. This collaboration was the occasion to experience exactly that and so much more!" Tatyana Drewry Carvin

The Third Annual Sprayseemo Festival 2019
( Traduction française plus bas )
This event was for us another meeting between friends, like all the festivals we accept to participate in.
It is an important point for us that I want to underline, we refuse to answer the "call to Artist" of the mural festivals, considering that the only major pleasure of the Art curator is to make the choice in his guideline, and to choose the artists that he wants to receive.
Little anecdote about this festival, the sponsor being a CBD company, a small gift bag was waiting for us in our room, it's a change from the traditional cookies and snacks lol
In fact that's maybe why the atmosphere was so relaxed.
At the general area, every lunchtime with our sandwiches and pizzas, there was the possibility to test the novelties of our sponsor: one day sparkling drinks with CBD, another popcorn, another sweets with Cbd etc...
From these meetings were born collaborations between artists, for example we collaborated on 2 t-shirts with Ten Hun, have a look here
During the festival, we also made a podcast called Clean Break with Matt Gondek, his questions were very interesting, and the atmosphere was friendly.
Artist and Craftman supply Wall
Location: 229 Southwest Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64108, États-Unis
We also had the chance to paint the wall of the art store, more, an employee owned company; Artist and Craftman supply. Which is always very useful when you paint a mural, such good selection of product. I wish we lived in Kansas city just to be able to buy materials from them. The whole staff was super friendly.
A bit about SpraySeeMO :
" Their goal is to continue to grow and propel Kansas City into being a mural-laden town that promotes creative expression and exploration on a large, public scale; an art-mecca of their own midwest design."
If you've ever taken a trip to Miami, you've more than likely seen Wynwood and its walls. You may also be familiar with the Bushwick area in Brooklyn or the mural-covered city of Philadelphia. These street art mecca's are world-renown and draw hundreds of thousands of visitors every year. Kansas City has a rich history of art, especially painting, as well as an incredible focus on art for the public, for everyone. From world-class museums with free-admission, the countless galleries and pop-up spaces supporting artists with a thriving First Friday Art Walk, to decades of murals gracing buildings throughout our neighborhoods; we embrace it all.
Their goal is to continue to grow and propel Kansas City into a mural-laden town that promotes creative expression and exploration; an art-mecca of their own midwest design. they are celebrating this truly incredible Arts District and furthering it's presence as an art-rich destination with a strong public art element through murals.
They select their muralist based on merits of creative individuality and technical prowess. Sprayseemo choose artists from varying backgrounds, geographical locations, and artistic styles in a manner that promotes and mimics the inclusiveness, as well as the strong, untamed individuality of the Crossroads Arts District.
**SPRAYSEEMO IS AN INVITATION-BASED EVENT**

Good night youngsters.

Regarding this festival, I just prefer to quote Jeff Hamada's words who did it so well by prefacing the anniversary book that you can get by clicking here
Read bellow.
« I feel lucky to have been part of the first POW! WOW! Hawai’i that Jasper Wong and Kamea Hadar organized in 2011. This was the second POW! WOW!, Jasper organized the first in Hong Kong the year before. The event was small enough that the invited artists and media could stay together in Kamea’s parent’s house on the North Shore, and everyone had a real bed. I only mention the beds because the event would quadruple in size over the next two years with upwards of 40 people staying on the property at one time—there would be a pillow and a blanket and someone sleeping on every inch of that floor. It was a far cry from the Waikiki hotels that have sponsored the event in recent years but it was also a big part of what made it special. Foodland for breakfast, Zippy’s for dinner. It was family style and it all came from a very earnest and naive desire to bring people together—not just to paint walls and go home, but to actually get to know each other, share stories, and form real friendships.
When I think about the first POW! WOW! Hawai’i, I think of Scien and Klor, the legendary French graffiti artists who founded 123Klan. They brought their two kids, Tom and Cleo, along on the trip, and I spent a lot of time with all four of them. The neat thing was they planned to collaborate on a mural together, as a family, for the very first time. Tom sketched a skull warrior and Cleo drew a Mr. Chocolate Bar guy (still one of my all-time fav characters). Scien helped Tom and Klor helped Cleo re-sketch their drawings on the wall. Just thinking about this kind of makes me a little bit emotional. It was a beautiful thing to watch. At one point I saw them all pose for a photo and all four of them threw up their middle fingers.
I remember Scien told me that the kids might miss a bit of school coming on a trip like this, but he and Klor felt it was a really important thing for them to experience—being surrounded by art and artists, and travelling. And they didn’t want to force them to be artists, if they decided they wanted to be lawyers, great, at least they’d get to see what this was like first.
I was 28, an adult (or at least the age of an adult), and the whole POW! WOW! experience was giving me a whole new perspective on what I wanted to spend my life doing. I tried to imagine what it would have been like to see it all at Tom and Cleo’s age. I don’t think they were even in high school yet. Two weeks surrounded by people from all different parts of the world, none of whom had “normal” jobs, all figuring out their own paths and creating ways to live doing what they loved. I’d been running Booooooom for three years at this point and I think this was the first time where I felt like there were a bunch of other people like me out there, making it up as they went. It was reassuring.
At some point during the trip, Tom and Cleo caught a lizard (I think it was a lizard) and it kind of became their pet. One afternoon we had a party at Jasper’s mom’s place and a lot of people came over to barbecue and hang out. The house and the yard were full of people having a great time, laughing and talking, and then someone noticed the kids were crying in the backyard. Scien ran out to see what was going on. I think Klor or someone said that the lizard had died. Scien hugged the kids and tried to comfort them, he was in full-on dad mode. And so in the middle of this big party, surrounded by all these happy people, the three of them walk to the far
end of the yard and they have this little funeral service for their pet. I think that’s when I felt like ‘I actually really know these people’.
This memory really stuck with me. Maybe it was because I’d been to lots of events where artists had big egos, and they were just too cool, and they didn’t want to really get to know anyone. This was the complete opposite of that. This was an honest moment and the kind of thing that only happens when people are being themselves. What I’m trying to say is when you look at all the photos in this book—a book celebrating the 10th anniversary of what is now a massive arts festival that has expanded across the United States, and brought art and artists to cities in Japan, Taiwan, Israel, Guam, The Netherlands, Korea, Italy—just remember, the spirit of POW! WOW! is a party where a guy can have a lizard funeral for his kids. »
Jeff Hamada
As precursors of the style mixing graffiti and graphics, from the beginning of the 90s, you first needed to know that the arrows are first a graphic interpretation of the characteristic arrows found in our wildstyle ( complex graffiti lettering, decorated with kind of illuminations that are very often arrows, as below, the arrow light green )
"The arrow -- everybody's got their own arrow, I like that though. Various arrow, some guys had add on letter arrow that was like connection. Some people had different arrows just going right through their pieces." Zéphyr, Style Wars
A nod to our first love : graffiti.
As you may have noticed they are included in each of our artworks. They are also in fact a denunciation of violence.
A reminder of the warlike world in which we live. The multiple attacks against art that only wants to be shared and passionate.
In the symbol of the oldest tattoos, the arrow pierces the heart. Symbol of love. Here the lettering transposes itself to the heart center of love, of our passion.
The arrows here pierce our heart, our passion like a symbol.
I often get annoyed with movements against this or that violence, often an ephemeral protest that divides, or worse, that excludes people. We are stil thinking in the continuity of the "stop the violence" of the 90ies
Why be divided in suffering, or be divided against violence.
Often mocked, or caricatured as an old school or ghetto culture, the wise quote of Hip Hop when we discovered it still reasons deep inside us.

Here is the basic design, the first step in everything we create, done by hand as always.
The color palette we created.
this is the kind of sharing we want to do with you.
of course, I document each work in video, and then I add it to the blog post by updating it.
so feel free to browse around, and come back. nothing is ever final
Since the confinement, we have taken a lot of distance on the amount of work and time we used to waste on the wrong media.
Why always prioritize the Gafams to give them exclusivity.
As you will have noticed our posts are less and less, we no longer want to play this game in which they will always be winners.
Our first steps on these platforms were rather in an intention of maximum sharing, a new audience open to the world, but in fact, nothing but an algorithmic illusion ...
We won't be so radical as to boycott them, but we're just going to reorder our priorities to first feed our blog, to benefit the people who have supported us since the beginning.
We have more than 10 walls of delay to put online, we'll add them as soon as we have some time off. And if we do it nevertheless, it's to share it with you.
Later, once we catch up with our delay, we will keep the good habit of sharing it with you by excluding it through our site, and then, if we have time, then we will tease it on Instagram and others.
you can exchange your points of view with us at any time.
comments are there for that.

Why is the gallery private? And why do I have to identify myself?
Because it is based on a human and reciprocal exchange.
Introduce yourself before going to someone's house, it's the basis of communication.
We are not an algorithmic content provider, or a pinterest LOL
Thank you for reading us and supporting us.

Here is a mural made with friends, with our pirate crew in Montreal
When we collaborate with friends, rather than making our own characters, we like to give ourselves a common theme, often using our childhood heroes as examples (these heroes were not human but manga characters).
The television and the broadcasting of the programs were at that time our window to the world when we were children. Hence the importance of the selection of the producers who privilege the qualitative contents. Thanks to Jacqueline Joubert for producing these Récré A2 programs.
The TV show Récré A2, then the Club Dorothée made us discover many mangas, and gave us the creative passion, we made our first weapons by redrawing our manga heroes.
The success of manga in France are numerous (Dragon Ball, Juliette, je t'aime, The Knights of the Zodiac, Ranma ½, Georgie, Nicky Larson or Sailor Moon...
In this Mural we make a nod to Albator
Albator (わが青春のアルカディア 無限軌道SSX, Waga seishun no Arukadia - Mugen kidō SSX?) is a Japanese anime series created by the great Leiji Matsumoto, in the manga Dai-kaizoku Harlock
In French-speaking countries, he is best known as the hero of the series Albator, le corsaire de l'espace (Albator 78) and Albator 84, broadcast in the 1980s, hence the title Albator 84.
In Quebec, broadcast in spring 1983 under the generic title Albator.
Intrinsically, it is clear that we have been influenced by this Japanese 2D treatment using flat colors and significant outlines in the Japanese style, there is no doubt about it.
Albator, my first love
As a little anecdote, as a little girl, I was in love with this space pirate without knowing why, later as an adult, I realize that I was in fact espousing his values.
The logo of our clothing brand Bandit1SM is a pirate, it is certainly a subconscious wink.
We graffiti artists are the last pirates of art. ( Read the synopsis and you will find the commonalities in our struggle. )
Synopsis:
In the year 2977, while Earth is once again living in peace, a new menace looms. However, the Earthlings are living in opulence. They have sent robots to exploit the resources of other planets. Through the globo-visual stultifiers, the overlords block the thoughts of an enslaved people. Deprived of reflexive power, they think they are happy.
( This manga is a work of pure fiction of course. Therefore any resemblance with real situations of mass dumbing down by social media could only be fortuitous. )
When a mysterious black sphere, covered with unknown glyphs, crashes on Earth, the earthlings do not take the situation seriously. While the world government proves incapable of reacting, an extraterrestrial threat soon materializes via the Sylvidres, lanky warrior women with a greenish complexion. Their actions are then attributed to Albator and his pirates; however, only he takes the threat seriously and commits himself to fight them.
The character: Albator is a determined, ruthless and seemingly merciless man, but his life is dictated by a code of honor, and he often shows compassion.
He is in fact an intelligent, idealistic, cultured and courageous being. His logic, bravery and practicality make him a captain respected by his crewmen and crewwomen and feared by his enemies. A modern knight fighting to uphold his convictions and save lost causes. This determination leads him to oppose the government.
The philosophy:
From the very first episodes, his philosophy is exposed: Albator fights against the rapid rise of capitalism and corruption. He can't stand the pollution on planet Earth anymore but also the inefficiency of the government men who only think of having a good time playing golf. The only solution that Albator found to fight against the debility of the human being is to escape in space and to fight and engage against the earth system.
Inside his ship, discipline is natural, not imposed by constraint and command.
All the crew members have voluntarily embarked to join the privateer or have been taken in by him. The real goal of Albator and all the crew of the Arcadia is to give back the real freedom to the earthlings and to restore a humanity of high moral and ecological value. Besides, to be part of his crew, you have to swear in the name of Freedom.
So yes, there is no doubt that identification with this hero and his values is and will always remain deep inside us.
Anticipation?
All the subjects that are close to our hearts are present in this work of anticipation. With hindsight, I understand better why we were amazed by this manga:
- for its aesthetics
- for the fights and values that the hero Albator conveyed.
- the inclusiveness of the cast of characters. The androgynous style, the natural representation of women as strong and emblematic characters.
Here is the complete production of the mural.

How does a collaboration work ?
We first met Ten Hun at the Sprayseemo in Kansas City. It is a mural festival organized by some people from the graffiti art scene such as his founder Rif Rif Giraffe and his other half Ami Harrington. We have tremendous luck to participate in such a festival. Why are we participating in these kinds of street art festivals?
- For the money? If only it was worth it…
- For visibility? We’re better off doing a solo show…
- For free vacation, Nah most of the time we are working in a parking lot.
Guys we are joking, most of the time, a mural festival is an chance to meet-up our friends, and make new one from around the world. It is one of the things we liked the most about those kinds of gathering. To see how much one common passion can reunite so many artists and can be shared at the same time is something amazing. And like that, it is sometimes the beginning of many new friendships.
Who is Ten Hun?
Ten Hundred is an artist and designer who lives actually in Seattle, he is best known for his illustrations, which include very colourful characters. His inspiration comes from anime and cartoons , childlike imagination, comics, world cultures, street art and graffiti and folklore.
Ten Hun or "Peter"? when he called us from the airport to let us know he'd arrived, he introduced himself as peter. We said who?? We only knew him by his artist name “Ten Hun”. Since then, we call him "Peteuur" (obviously with a French accent). He is funny, talented, he makes us laugh and all-around a wholesome guy.
Why this collaboration was made?
The main reason was the money. If we calculate correctly:
10hundred X 123K = 12 300 000K
Failed !
You have to follow your feelings and do whatever you want ... Obviously, we have always worked that way when it was time to meet new people, it is always a hunch, a feeling and above all very organic. That’s how our friendship with Ten Hun came to life. We had an instant connection with him and that’s how over the month, the idea of a collaboration was born. For those kinds of partnerships, it is always best to let the process be natural and not plan in advance. Generally, the reality of what we expect to happen is greater than what we could wish for.
What’s the purpose of our collaboration?
The number one target was money, success, admiration and everything in between. Back to reality now, it was to do a partnership with Ten Hun on a streetwear t-shirt. We communicated back and forth on WhatsApp and came up with a date where Peter could fly in from Seattle to Montreal for a week. With more than 20 years of expertise in hand, 123Klan refined their streetwear and has made the graphic art tee a specialty. When Ten Hun said that he owns himself an online clothing store, it was a no brainer to do a collaboration on a t-shirt, a perfect canvas to showcase a mixed style of his and ours style. We also have to mention that he came in January, in the middle of Montreal’s winter so no graffiti art on the wall, the second-best ideal is obviously the t-shirt.
What is the difference between Ten Hun art style and 123Klan art style?
We had to talk about each of our own art styles to figure out where to meet. 123Klan aesthetic leans more toward clean thick lines and graphic art and Peter’s is more one the skinnier lines and a bit more hand-drawn art. As a result, it would be very awesome to see those two houses collide together or it would need a bit of work to finesse the result and make them be cohesive.
What is the first step to the collaboration?
Step 1 : brainstorm
Step 2: draw
Step 3: illustrate and vectorize
Working with Ten Hun was very easy for us. Not sure about him.
The first character that Ten Hun came up with is from the inspiration of an old Sony walkman. It’s more throwback and old school. Not sure if it was his way to make fun of us for being in that Boomer category. For our character, we could not miss the opportunity to use our classic Mr. Card mascot and make some variation to it. We felt free to produce whatever we wanted to create without limitation on this combination. Then, we worked with the name “Ten Hun” with many different graphic hand-drawn styles and eventually gave it some scale and dimension on Illustrator and Photoshop.
How to vectorize a drawing?
It always starts with a hand-drawn sketch and then vectorizes on a computer to be able to work better on that image later on. On the other hand, Peter was also working on his character and he used Procreate to tweak his character a little bit. A big part of this coming to life streetwear shirt was getting into the design on computers. There was a lot of vectorizing on one computer and adding logos and crazy elements on the other computer. After some time, the Sony Walkman had a bunch of different elements on him mixes with 123Klan emblematic art logos and street style designs.
How to choose the colors?
The final appearance of that character was in different shade and contrast of orange mixed with a little bit of grey. To make everything pop, we decided to use black as the main color of the t-shirt so that we could easily read the graphic on the shirt.
What is the process of printing a t-shirt?
To complete the process, we had to figure out how to print that shirt design. We opted for a silkscreen printed shirt. Why we prefer Silkscreen printing ? Because we prefer to provide quality. The silkscreen does not fade when washed, and has a longer life cycle.
By using a website called JackPrint, we were able to easily customize our order and printed them out.
Did we really make a second street style t-shirt?
We had so much fun creating the first streetwear t-shirt and we had so much more ideals left that we decided to do a second shirt with a completely different vibe than the first one while maintaining a cohesive style. Ten Hun is outstanding! We left him alone for not even half a day and he came up with 3 new hand drawing. We had to use them all for the second shirt! It has a mafia man holding a gun, a hentai girl, a tapir and a bunch of street-style graffiti art in the background. We did the same thing with the second streetwear t-shirt, we kept it black on the background so that the coral pink of the shirt translates better. It came down to the same process and we are so proud of the final products. We could not be happier to have shared the experience with Ten Hun!
If it's not too late, you can purchase these 2 t-shirts at TENHUN's streetwear clothing online store: https://www.tenhundredart.com

Limited Skateboards 123KLAN X 1XRUN
We are very proud to present our last collaboration with 1XRUN
Even if only 8 left today.
This is our first art collaboration on a skateboard with them. We we use to release some exclusive and limited art prints with 1XRUN, but they are unfortunately all Sold Out ! Sorry guys. but you can check them here
This one is not on art paper, but on a board. It isn't the first time we design one. Part of the streetwear scene, we did a lot of them for the skateboard industry such as Plan B Zoo york, Element, and many more.
Some are really rare ( edition of 3/3 ) that you can find on our art section.
Take a detailed look at the skate bellow :
As graffiti writers, we always felt really close to the skateboarding culture. Coming up during the 90s, which is considered for certain peoples as "the golden era of skateboarding", we were always influenced by the skateboarding world directly or indirectly. Sharing the same love of the thrill. Rocking baggy clothes, fitted caps, and sneakers. Understanding the whole concept of doing something that you love and where you are able to express yourself. But at the same time, the thing that makes you thrill is considered either illegal, marginal or just misunderstood by the vast majority of the population. Both being subculture, they evolve in the margin of society. Emerging during the '70s and '80s mainly as self-expression, they expand through every city, suburbs, and continents. Mostly, they take their roots from the past marginal trend of the youth like hip-hop, punk rock, heavy metal. Both disciplines share lots of similarities.
If we take a quick glimpse at the Wiki definition, it goes as the following :
Subculture /ˈsʌbkʌltʃə/ :
A subculture is a group of people within a culture that differentiates itself from the parent culture to which it belongs, often maintaining some of its founding principles. Subcultures develop their own norms and values regarding cultural, political and sexual matters
You can easily compare the work ethic of both disciplines to realize that they have a lot in common. Both are, for the most part, being done or should I say "were" done in the streets without authorization. Both required hours and hours or even years of working on your craft to try to master all the elements, perfecting every detail to get a crisp finish! Achieving a unique style required years of efforts! You either are practicing your handstyles, sketching up, catching a freight, flop or throwie down the block. Just like when you are flipping down your board trying to land that next trick. One thing for sure is that both disciplines can't be fake! ( For the most part ) Fraud and impostors are quickly brushed out! Well, at least what it used to be :p, PRAY THE FAKE GET EXPOSED! Pozer or Toy in the local jargon means basically the same thing!
This year, we got approached by 1xRun on a collaboration skateboard deck design for Go Skateboarding Day! Of course, we were hyped to work on this! Using skateboard as a canvas is always fun!
The inspiration behind the design is the mix mashup! A fusion of disparate elements. Each of these elements and items is based on their own creations - drawn by hand at first and then evolve to vector, to painting. Each mixed mashup is a window into their body of work. A slideshow of their art and family. A way of love for graffiti.
We also want to refer to our blue resilience color created to be vibrant.
Even if it looks chaotic, in the composition, each element is thought millimeter under the graphic designer's eyes of Scien and Klor. Before moving on to the realization of the final canvas.
The result might look weird and heavily stylized, rarely attempting any semblance of existing street art through the elements and items used are based on their own creations, hand sketching first as ever.
The 123klan blue skateboard deck will release on June 21st at 12PM EST.
You will be able to buy the board directly from 1xRun
Edition of 30 100,00 USD
This board is made with Archival Pigment Print Transfer on Cold Pressed Steep Natural Skate Deck
Size: 8 x 31.875 Inches
The Run comes with a screen-printed signature, is hand-numbered and includes a Certificate of Authenticity from 123Klan and 1xRUN.

Why a graffiti blog and articles on what we love and respect?
We made our first steps into the Hip Hop culture back in the '90s, and it is thanks to this spirit of sharing. We have been able to evolve during all these years by sharing graffiti techniques, sharing experiences across the world, on walls with a spray can … The « old school* » way of transmitting to the « new school ».
*Not this doesn't mean that we have become old, not yet (i will never admit lol)
It has always been important for us to transmit our passion. In the beginning, we were just a few graffiti writers, regrouping in jams organized between us, for us. Were we could also easily recognize each other only by our style of dress. It would be a little more complicated today: imagine that if I give props to all the peoples who wear a cap or sneakers in the street...Weird, no?
Today, I will need your opinion on something. My questions would be:
If you can take 5 small minutes of your time, you can answer these questions here
Version Française ici
Or just below into the comments of this article.
If we run a graffiti art blog with articles about all that we love, it's because the
blog, for us, stays an independent Channel to keep this spirit of sharing with no middle man. We try less and less to entrust this content to social media, and we invite you, again and again, to read our blog, and read as well as all the graffiti artist’s one. Only the reals know and will seek the information at its real source. You do not deserve to be content suggested, you are smart and cultured enough.
At the Sprayseemo Mural Festival, we participated in a strange experience; a podcast by Matt Gondek, his interview was well done, and we answered the questions that everyone uses to ask, and more.
At first, it was a lot of fun, it reminded us of the old radio interviews that we sometimes gave in the 90s. (Radio Nova will probably speak to the nostalgic of France and Navarre). The difference is that listeners could call-in the station and asked questions, some interactivity, and pleasure of sharing experiences, and opinions.
The cool thing is the fact that this interview gave us the idea to develop this kind of video podcast to talk to you directly, « the radio of the future », that is the internet magic lol. It would be a little more ruff, but more direct and instantaneous than the existing text that I'm writing.
Then, you could also ask us some questions, ask for some advice, and we could answer them in the form of short video feedback, the process would be faster. Well, well… we'll have to face the camera, less obvious than facing a wall ... Could be fun ;p
And you will even be able to have fun hearing my french accent.
or just comment below.
Thanks for your love,
Klor

Check out the mural we painted with the whole fam Scien, Klor & Aiik alongside TMRC, Golporc & Golois. Watch the full video recap and the pics right bellow
There are some who fish, others who hunt, and us? Well, we like to paint graffiti mural! Painting is our way to share some good moment with friends, doesn't witch spot or witch wall. It's always a good time! For this graffiti session, especially, we can go further and say that we painted graffiti with the family. To be more precise, we consider TMRC as a family ;p
Easy! First, we get in touch to organize the concept of the wall, we give ourselves a common background color, and we jam our A.K.A in our personal style while taking into account the overall coherence of the wall. It's a spontaneous collaboration with a lot of creative freestyle, but with a tiny touch of organization.
Same principle as the organization of a bbq between friends, but more creative.
Klor
For more than 25 years, we have been painting our graffiti wall this way, according to the encounters, and the pleasures of meeting friends and being reunited on a wall. Graffiti, as I know, is one of the few painting movements in which the artist collaborate with their peers just for the sake of sharing and creating a masterpiece. The media may stigmatize the graffiti movement, but in fact, in the graffiti writing world, there is no free pass, no hookup of any kind. You have to gain your respect, and the only way this can be done is with the work that you put in. This way after years of perfecting your craft you can make a name for yourself, and start getting recognition for your work.
Respect is something earned, it can not be bought.
And the most important thing for a graffiti artist is the recognition of the other graffiti writers, more than the recognition of the indoctrinated uneducated mass majority that only loves what they can understand and prefer reproduction to original production.
Scien
We love this spot along the tracks, far from the eyes of the onlookers 2
No need to explain the implicit attraction between the graffiti writer and the train.
We just can not ignore it, it's part of our DNA
(2onlookers ( Badaud in french ): means people who linger to watch the show on the street.)
Gaulois
"This spot will never be seen! You are not paid to do it? No visibility? It's stupid!"
Not at all, we love painting with friends, just for the fun of it. It's that kind of value that seduced me in the hip hop movement. The tribal side, the "we are family" side ...
Paint to exchange moments and memeries.
Boporc
Graffiti is a big family in which we help each other a lot. Our wall sessions are just the equivalent of family reunion or celebrations, but much much better. ( with the family that we chose, :p)
Of course, as in all families, sometimes there is some arguments or "chicane" as we say in Quebec, but the most important things is to never forget that we share the same values, we have more common points than divergence, together we are stronger. The division within the graffiti movement only weakens the movement it and makes room for imposture.
Peace, unity and Respect

Living in a place where we are almost covered of snow half of the year, it's only in our nature ( Sprayer by Nature ) ;) to take advantage of every opportunity we have to paint a wall. Early June, our good friend Jober was in town. We linked up, grab a milk Krate full of Montana Colors Cans, found a spot and Rocked it! hehe!
Check out the photo and video of the wall we paint.
In early june 2019, Jober, who was invited for the Reptil Pop up show, came to Montreal, which led to a collaboration together outside of the expo. We had already met Jober a couple of years back at Jardin Rouge in Morocco, so we had no other choice but meet up and paint!
The beauty in graffiti writing is also about its communal side. We could consider it as a tribal art that makes us share and paint in groups just for fun. In the world of Hip Hop and graffiti, it's really usual when a graffiti artist visits a new city or country and connects with local artists in order to share a wall and some skills. No matter where you travel, you can always meet and paint with local artists. Art itself brings us together since we have the same kind of approach to it and we share similar experiences and passions.
It’s a unifying movement based on sharing which gets passionated and enthralling activists closer.
This graffiti piece reflects our latest works on canvas. There is constantly back-and-forth between our walls and our canvas ; each of them feeds the other. More and more, we give some sorts of hints from our paintings in our graffiti pieces by adding some of their details. For example, we use the arrows the same way on our letters, we place the same diamonds or we even use some look-alike patterns. Our walls and our canvas aren’t so distinguishable. We progress just as much in one or another alongside, so it’s normal to find some resemblance between a graffiti and a painting. There is a continuing interaction between our canvas and our graffitis.
PS: Most of the time, as kind of the tomboy that I am, I couldn’t resign myself to choosing pink as the main color. I wouldn’t let myself us it too much to avoid being associated to the girly stereotype that comes with it. But, after all, we must learn to redefine the colors to own them!
